Missing from social media, that is…

Just days after Ben Swann, a internationally-recognized news anchor for the CBS46 news outlet in Atlanta, became the first major news reporter to report fairly on the alleged Washington pedophilia conspiracy known as Pizzagate, the January 17 video segment was erased from the CBS46 website and Swann took a brief yet unexpected leave of absence from his anchoring position, before returning to his job on January 30, and then promptly informing his online followers via Facebook that he would be deleting all of his social media accounts on February 1, all the while promising, “It is all good. Trust me.”

After the airing of this report, Swann took a leave of absence from work and shortly thereafter posted the following message to his Facebook:

“Hey guys, everyone is asking if things are OK. They are. I will be heading back to CBS46 on Monday but there are going to be some changes. The biggest one will be that this social page will go dark f/n on Tzuday, Feb 1. We’ve been building this project for 6 years and those who have come to know me.. I hope you have also come to trust me.”

(Note the spelling of “Tuesday,” which Swann spells as “Tzuday.” Many internet researchers point out that this is almost certainly a reference to Sun Tzu’s infamous novel “The Art of War,” one of the most famous military strategy books of all time. Also of note is that February 1, the day Swann said he would go dark, was actually a Wednesday, not a Tuesday, as he stated.)

Swann also posted similar warnings on his Twitter account:

Just minutes later, Swann posted an identical message and picture on Twitter, but with one glaring addition: a small logo which appears to be the symbol for the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars, which is the group of good guys who fight against the evil Galactic Empire and Darth Vader. The Rebel Alliance logo can be seen just under the date “Feb 1, 2017”.

And then, *poof*, the entirety of Ben Swann’s social media presence was erased from the internet, including all of his YouTube videos which covered topics other media outlets wouldn’t dare touch. His independent news website, www.truthinmedia.com, was also taken offline, now requiring a password to access the site.

It’s also interesting to note that prior to deleting his social media presence, Swann announced via Facebook that he would be cancelling a crowdfunded project about the creation of ISIS and to what extent the U.S. government and their allies were involved in its establishment and rise.

Swann wrote on Facebook: “Hey guys, Ben Swann here… I want to thank everyone who has contributed to the ISIS video crowdfund. Unfortunately, we are not going to be moving forward with that project at this time. EVERYONE who contributed WILL BE REFUNDED THEIR FULL DONATION”

So, what exactly does Swann’s sudden social media blackout and cryptic messages mean? As of yet, no one knows…
